What the extension does
It only acts when the user explicitly clicks Tokelang. It reads the current prompt box, asks Tokelang for a compressed version, shows a preview, and then replaces the prompt only after confirmation.
What users see
Install
The extension page checks whether Tokelang is installed in the current Chrome profile and tells the user exactly what to do next.
Pin
If it is not pinned, the page tells the user to pin it from Chrome's puzzle menu. We cannot force-pin it, so the instruction has to be explicit.
Connect
One click on Connect extension creates a dedicated extension API key and stores it only inside the extension.
Use
Inside the LLM UI, users click Tokelang, inspect the preview, and then replace the text. The extension does not auto-submit or mutate the prompt silently.
Manual fallback: open Dashboard → API Keys, create a key, then paste it once into the extension popup if auto-connect is unavailable.
